Musicians

Wessel van Wyk studied in Europe where he won the first prize in the Vienna International Bösendorfer Piano Competition.

He now lives in South Africa where he is often heard in solo Recitals and on the Radio
Bryan Wallick, Gold medalist at the Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition in Kiev, Ukraine, has recently finished his post graduate residence as the recipient of the Associated Board International Scholarship at The Royal Academy of Music in London. Since his 1997 debut with the Cincinnati Pops, Mr. Wallick has performed with many orchestras including the Illinois Philharmonic, the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony, the Northern Kentucky Symphony, and the London Soloists Chamber Orchestra amongst many others.Mr. Wallick was the first person to ever graduate form The Juilliard School with both an undergraduate Honors Diploma (2000) and an accelerated Master’s Degree (2001). He previously studied with Christopher Elton, Jerome Lowenthal, and Eugene and Elizabeth Pridonoff.

Salomé van der Walt-Wepener was recently awarded a Masters degree from the Royal College of Music, London. At the age of 13 and 15 she won the 3rd prize at the Virtuosi per Musica di Pianoforte, in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic. At the age of 16 she won the fourth prize in the international piano competition, Marsala Italy. She has since won several major prizes including the UNISA, P J Lemmer Overseas Scholarship, the SAMRO Overseas Scholarship, and the Philip Crawshaw Prize at the Royal Over-seas League competition in London. She has performed as soloist with major orchestras in South Africa and regularly performs at venues across the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and South Africa.
